Local schoolgirl gets High School Musical treatment

Local Northcliff High shoolgirl, Carmen Pretorius got the red carpet treatment as she returned to cheers from her schoolmates.

THEY might not have won the crown as High School Musical Spotlight SA superstars yet, but the top six finalists in the reality show are already celebrities in their home towns and schools.

This week the remaining top six contestants — Danni Rau, Tsephi Mashego, Daniel Wessels, David Schlachter and Lyle Volkwyn — get an opportunity to visit their home towns, meet family and friends — and many, many fans.
