Suspect arrested and linked to crimes

Suspect being taken into Parkview SAPS for further questioning.

While on patrol in Emmarentia and Greenside area, CSS Tactical officers noticed a suspicious male loitering in the vicinity of an intersection known for smash and grabs.

The suspect was apprehended and searched. Upon searching the suspect, the following items were discovered in his possession: 1 x drivers license, 1 x cheque book, 1 x SA ID book and 2 x mobile phones. The suspect was handed over to Parkview Police officers who arrested the man.

Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the suspect was linked to another smash and grab incident.
