Northgate post office robbed

The Northgate post office in Johannesburg was robbed of an undisclosed amount of money on Wednesday afternoon, Honeydew police said.

Six men stormed into post office at 2.30pm and demanded money from staff at gunpoint, Inspector Kym Cloete said.

"They held a 43-year-old employee at gunpoint, forced her to open the safe and fled with the scene with an undisclosed amount of money."

No one was injured and no arrests had been made.
