Police in Linden are questioning a 28-year-old Zimbabwean national who was part of a two-man gang that attempted to rob a family at Charmane Street, President Ridge in Linden on April 22, 2013 after 8am. Police seized a firearm from him while trying to flee from the crime scene.

More than 10% of all crimes reported to police in Gauteng in the 2011/12 financial year were committed in only five areas, according to a report on Monday.

Some nice young xxxxx mugged my daughter in a park in Emmarentia while taking her Pit bulls for a run on Sunday October 28, 2012 at around 6pm. If 2x Pit bulls her boyfriend and the fact that she is the daughter of the founder of eblockwatch is not going to keep you safe then nothing will.

My friend and I went to Emmarentia Botanical Gardens for a walk in the dog-walking section (Orange Street entrance) on Saturday October 20, 2012 at about 11am. Living in Johannesburg, we’re quite security-conscious [and don’t wear jewellery to the park or take unnecessary valuables with us] and deemed that with 15 cars in the parking lot there’d be enough people around to feel safe and so proceeded with our walk.

Be on the lookout for a charcoal Isuzu double cab bakkie, registration JYT 937 GP in the Linden/ Randburg area. There are three black males travelling in the vehicle, the driver has a scar down his nose.

On the August 22, 2012, just after 1pm our house was broken into here in Emmarentia Ext. What the thieves didn't know was I caught the entire incident on camera. We are offering a reward for the return of all our property and the apprehension of this 'person'.
