Four men were arrested on Friday January 13, 2012 near a shopping complex in Linden for being in the possession of explosives and two illegal firearms.
Johannesburg police are searching for the suspect that fled from yesterday’s house robbery and shooting in Cresta, Northcliff. One of the suspects was shot and killed and the other managed to escape.
The men allegedly broke into a house near the Cresta Shopping Centre and held up residents on Monday January 9, 2012.

Four suspects were arrested this morning after a resident was held at gun point in Berario in an attempted hijacking. “Beagle Watch security guards saw the group trying to hijack the woman”, said, spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Lungelo Dlamini.
Fairlands Police had an interesting case earlier this month where two illegal Chinese citizens were arrested for being in possession of Abalone (Perlemoen). Information was received and after watching the house for several days it was decided to make the bust.
