Kim Healey gets the white blazer
On Thursday 23 July, after awarding colours to pupils who had excelled in the winter sports season, Mr Essex-Clark announced that Northcliff was awarding a new White Honours Blazer to a young lady who has Full Colours for Girls’ Cricket, Squash and now Hockey. Kim Healey was called up onto the stage and her parents were welcomed into the assembly. The school’s applause indicated a sincere and well-deserved congratulations from the group. Kim had set this as a goal for herself when she entered the school as a Grade 8 pupil. The White Blazer is only awarded to pupils who achieve Full Colours in three different activities and it is something which we ask all of our children to use as a symbol which may inspire them to achieve to the best of their abilities.
