Berario Recreation Centre in trouble
A reader Laura sent us this seriously worrying note about the Berario Recreation Centre.
She writes, "All Recreational Centers have had their budgets cut in half and they have been told that they cannot take in the money from renting out the Rec Center any more. This was used towards the centers upkeep.
"The Berario Recreational Centers grass was last cut mid December 2009!
"They gave me Pat Richards contact details and she has requested that I call REGION B and lay a complaint about the long grass around the Rec. Centre. Make sure to get a reference number for the complaint.
"SMS the reference number through to Pat Richards on 082 569 4452 together with your name and long grass Berario Recreational Centre; so she can contact the department and lay a complaint!"

Laura writes to us further,
"These numbers are incorrect. I tried to phone the 011 7189650 number today and got through to Region B revenue section. I then tried to call Pat Richards back on her supposed home number that was given to me and got hold of Metro File!! I then got through to a very defeated Pat Richards on her cell number 0825694452 the only number in my e-mail to you that is correct. "
