Beyers Naude Drive upgraded
The treacherous single-lane section of Beyers Naude Drive past Zandspruit has been upgraded and widened and a pedestrian bridge has been built.
Described by the community as the “road of death”, Beyers Naude Drive through Zandspruit and Northriding is rapidly changing its notorious image into that of well-oiled thoroughfare truly honouring a great South African.

The ring that appeared around the sun this morning had Joburg residents wondering what it could be. Social media networks such as twitter and facebook were a buzz with people chatting about the phenomenon which appeared from about 9am. The planetarium was flooded with phone calls from the public many who were worried it was the end of the world.

Emma Albertyn Grade 1 at Cliffview Primary School is a huge Bafana Bafana fan!

The Irish Club situated in the Linden Bowling Club is fast becoming one of the best venues to celebrate St Patricks Day the venue was completely packed full with guests enjoying the green festivities.

Saturday saw the streets awash with little scary people in search of sweets. Jack Robertson was a ganster vampire zombie.
