Lace up and Walk the Talk with the Chev

Be more than a spectator this July. Grab your gear and register to walk with the Chevrah Kadisha at this year’s Discovery 702 Walk the Talk.

For the 3rd consecutive year, supporters of the Johannesburg Chevrah Kadisha, the oldest and largest Jewish welfare organisation in SA, will be walking together on July 25 to raise funds for emergency life-saving surgical procedures.

Last year, instantly recognisable by their bright purple balloons, purple caps and black T-shirts adorned with the names of their sponsors, over 500 people took to the streets to walk under the Chevrah’s banner.

“We do the 8km walk” said Cindi Bobroff, Team Coordinator, “and are expecting a much bigger crowd of walkers this year. Team spirit is always great, but with the added excitement of the world soccer, the mood of Jo’burgers is bound to be upbeat!”
