The Author Talk at Indulgence

Will take place on July 17, 2010, this month’s author is Emma Chen, she is the owner of the Red Chamber Restaurant at Hyde Park. Emma was born in Taiwan, came to SA to study in the early 80’s and has run the Red Chamber since 1989.

She is married and has four dogs and two cats… more than that you will have to ask her yourselves. This promises to be a fabulous read and should really interest a whole range of people including foodies. Her book is called “Emperor can wait” and is a tale of childhood memories and family recipes!

The author will start at 3pm promptly. Please as always bring along two books, one to swap and one to donate! We have loads more to collect for Animals in Distress before the end of the year races around! Please be seated by 2.30pm!
