Young girl dies in house robbery shootout
A violent shoot-out at a house robbery in Kessel Street, Fairland this morning ended in tragedy with a young girl being shot dead in the cross-fire.
Supt. Moichela of the Fairland SAPS says, "it was a very unfortunate incident where a security company responded to a break-in at the house. A shoot-out ensued and in the cross-fire, another young girl was shot and killed as they pulled up as part of a lift club."
He did add that 3 suspects have been arrested and 2 firearms seized.
