UJ is expecting another orange wave of support for their second home fixture in the FNB Varsity Cup against NMMU on Monday.

Fresh from a convincing win in front of a 6 500-strong crowd against Ikeys on Monday, UJ is expecting another orange wave of support for their second home fixture in the FNB Varsity Cup next week.
The Joburg-based team is anticipating a near-capacity crowd when they tackle visitors NMMU in the 10 000-seater stadium in Westdene at 5pm on Monday.

Traffic-stopping rugby at UJ

Traffic control measures will be in place for the University of Johannesburg’s four FNB Varsity Cup home fixtures at the stadium in Westdene during February and March.
These Monday-night clash kicked off at 7pm on February 13, with the match against UCT, followed by the encounter with NMMU at 5pm on February 20.

A top-ten performance at the recent Spec-Savers Ironman 70.3 South Africa has earned rising triathlon star Jeanni Seymour elite U/23 status and paved the way towards achieving her Olympic dreams.
The 19-year-old University of Johannesburg student won the 18 to 24 age category for a second consecutive year and was the sixth woman overall at the East London event on January 31.
