New group scouter
Friday, June 11, was a memorable day for Richard Eustace as he was officially appointed as the new Group Scouter to the Fairlands Scout Group.
Richard knows all about serving his community and served in the fire and emergency services for over 20 years and “retired” as a Divisional Chief.
Richard comes from a scouting environment where he himself was a cub then scout at 1st Waverley Scouts. His daughter has also been an active member of the Fairlands Scouts Troop for the past 2 years.
Richard’s duties entail liaising between the uniformed Scouters and the Group parent committee. The Group Scouter represents the Fairlands Group at District meetings and various scouting meetings. This is an exciting new venture that Richard is really looking forward to.
