Fairland cub cycle rally

Our winning team (came 2nd overall). Cameron Whitfield, Kristin Haskins, Jordan Britz and Luka Eardley.

The annual Wally Kohler District Cycle Rally was held at Delta Park on Saturday June 5. The 1st German Scout Troop successfully organised this much anticipated event for the Scouts and Cubs to partake in.

The motivated Cub Pack entered two teams of cyclists to take part in this grueling three hour relay. One of the Fairlands’ Teams came in second out of the somewhat 16 teams in total, having completed just one lap short of the winning team.

A comment from a parent: “They cycled their little legs tired. Some of them cycled two laps at a time.” The cubs in ‘our’ winning team were Cameron Whitfield, Kristin Haskins, Jordan Britz and Luka Eardley.
